Bosloe

Bosloe is a maths teacher, writer, and self-confessed troublemaker whose dad jokes and sarcasm have earned him legendary groans from students across Oxfordshire.

After eighteen years in the British Army and a decade navigating the business world as an operations and programme manager, he made the leap to teaching in 2019—just in time for the pandemic to make things interesting. In 2025, he completed his BSc (Open) Honours Degree through the Open University, proving that six years of study alongside full-time work and writing nearly a million words of fiction is absolutely a reasonable life choice.

Born in the Northwest of England, Bosloe discovered his love for fantasy at a young age but only recently found the courage to share his own stories. The Amatherean Tales began as a web serial on Royal Road in early 2024 and quickly found a home with Podium Entertainment. The series now spans multiple books, blending isekai adventure, LitRPG mechanics, and the kind of snarky banter that comes naturally to someone who's spent decades surrounded by soldiers, spreadsheets, and teenagers.

Drawing inspiration from a lifetime of fantasy reading, gaming, and the incredible authors of the LitRPG genre, Bosloe crafts worlds where accountants become assassins, AI companions have attitude problems, and the fine print really does matter.

He lives in Oxfordshire with his wife and their fur babies. When he's not writing at 4 am or teaching quadratic equations, you'll find him walking the beast around the local countryside—or plotting his next terrible pun.
