Writing Update

It has been a while, so I thought it was about time to write an update on progress and what is happening.

Book 4 is currently sitting at 110k words - I expect it to end at a similar length to the first 3 in the series, so I have approximately 50k left to go.

Cover Art for Book 1 - the basic design is confirmed, and I have received a mock-up of it. I am awaiting the completed work before I look into sharing it with the community, as I don't wish to spoil the surprise in advance. When it is finished, I hope it shows the essence of Amathera, particularly the area around Killic, considering its importance to the first two books.

Writing, in general, has been significantly restricted recently due to work commitments and also the degree I am completing. It is my final year, and I am having to spend longer working through various aspects than in previous years. This is, unfortunately, removing my writing time while I focus on it, and I may, as I lead up to the final few months (It finishes in May), have to pause my writing completely while I complete the final assignments. I will see how things progress, but I need to make you aware in advance.

On the flip side, I am getting more and more excited each day with the approaching release of Book 1 in the series. The official release date is the 5th of August 2025, with book 2 following shortly after on the 2nd of December 2025 and book 3 in April 26. It is incredible to consider that I began writing the series in February last year, and as I approach the twelve-month point in my series, the tremendous and fabulous support you and the wider LitRPG community have shown me.

The community and its members are some of the kindest people you can meet, and because of this, I am also buzzing about attending my first LitRPG conference later this year.

LitRPG Con is being held in Denver from the 18th - to the 20th of July, and I will be attending to meet so many of those I have spoken to over my writing journey and also hopefully meet many new faces within the community. The plane tickets have been booked for months, and I am now just waiting for the rooms to be released so that I can book one. General ticket sales for the conference are due out in the next few weeks, and I hope, if possible, that some of you may be able to attend, as I would love to meet you in person if you are.

To find out more about the conference there are updates via newsletter available from the website.

Your support, whether as a free member or a tiered member, means the world to me, and I thank you all dearly.

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend.

Bosloe
